- Keep your ship flying and push your score past your best.
About Space Words
Space Words mixes a small space shooter with a spelling quiz. A picture appears in the middle of the screen, for example a truck, and a row of empty boxes at the bottom shows how many letters its name has. Your job is to type the word that matches the picture. A speech bubble next to your ship gives a nudge when you need one, such as telling you that the first letter is a consonant. Meanwhile you still have a ship to fly: move it with the arrow keys or WASD and fire with Space, X or L, and on a touch screen an on-screen pad and fire button do the same. Your score is shown at the top next to your best. It is a playful way to build vocabulary and spelling as well as typing.
