How to play Speed Typer
- Choose Easy, Medium or Hard from the level menu at the top.
- Read the word under "Type the following".
- Type it into the box before the timer reaches zero.
- Each correct word adds to your score and brings a new one; if time runs out, the round ends.
About Speed Typer
Speed Typer strips typing practice down to its core. Choose a level from the menu at the top, Easy, Medium or Hard, and the game shows a single word under the line "Type the following". Type it into the box below before the countdown next to it reaches zero, and your score goes up and a new word appears. If the clock runs out first, the round ends and you see your final score with a button to play again. There are no characters or animations to distract you, just a word, a timer and a score, which makes it a handy warm-up before a longer typing session or a quick daily check on your speed. Moving up a level is a clear way to see your typing improve.
