Every project starts with a choice of genre, theme and platform, and not every combination works equally well — part of the fun is experimenting to find the mixes that turn into hits. Research unlocks new genres, themes and mechanics, upgrades and a growing team make development faster, and player feedback plus each game's rating tell you what landed and what didn't.
