Jelly merge

Combine matching jelly blobs together, merging them up the chain across the board as it fills with wobbly shapes.

About Jelly merge

Jelly merge runs the familiar merge-chain format through a wobbly, physics-inflected jelly theme: combine two matching jelly blobs together to merge them into a bigger blob, and keep merging upward as the board fills with an increasingly varied set of wobbly shapes. Because jelly blobs wobble and settle slightly after landing rather than snapping cleanly into a grid, judging exactly where a dropped blob will actually end up takes a touch more care than a standard grid-based merge puzzle would ask for. As the board fills with a growing mix of blob sizes, merging upward consistently to clear space matters just as much as chasing the single biggest possible blob, since a board too crowded with small, unmerged blobs eventually leaves nowhere left to drop new ones. Its soft, wobbly presentation gives standard merge-puzzle logic a distinctly bouncy visual feel.
