About Match Match

Match Match is a classic matchstick puzzle built on arithmetic. Every level starts with an equation made of matches that is simply wrong — a sum that doesn't add up, for example. Your job is to fix it by moving, adding or taking away one or more matches until both sides are equal. The math itself is easy; the challenge is seeing that a single match can turn a 9 into an 8, a 3 into a 5, or a plus sign into a minus. Before dragging anything, read each digit and ask which ones are only one match away from becoming something else — that's usually where the answer is hiding.
