Royal Defense is a tower defense game about holding the road against waves of enemies. Pick a level, then tap a free building spot to set up archers, mages, artillery or barracks. Defeated enemies drop gold, which you spend upgrading your defenses in the middle of the fight. When a wave gets dangerous, summon heroes and cast spells at the right moment. Every enemy that reaches the end of the path costs a life. Each win brings stars, opens up further levels and pays for permanent upgrades before the next battle. Mixing tower types, rather than building only one kind, handles both tough and fast enemies.
