About Threads
Threads asks you to untangle a genuinely knotted mess of colored strands, dragging each one clear of the others without letting it cross a thread it has not already passed. Because every strand's path depends on where the others currently sit, moving one out of the way can shift what looks solvable into something newly blocked, so the order you free each thread in matters as much as the individual moves themselves. Later tangles pack in more overlapping strands, which means a move that clears one color can inadvertently trap another that was previously free. Reading the whole knot before pulling any single thread, rather than tugging at whichever strand looks closest to loose, is what actually gets a tangled layer cleared instead of just rearranged into a different tangle. It is a spatial puzzle built entirely around sequencing rather than speed.
