Tile Stack Mahjong

Tile Stack Mahjong keeps the pacing calm and unhurried: there is no countdown clock pressuring you, just a hand-painted set of mahjong tiles waiting to be cleared two at a time by matching identical pairs. The real challenge comes from tile layering — a tile stacked underneath others is not available to match until whatever sits on top of it has already been cleared, so working out which pairs to take first can open up access to tiles that were previously locked away. Clearing an easy, exposed pair too early without checking the layout underneath can sometimes bury a matching partner deeper instead of freeing it. Because there is no timer, the game rewards a patient read of the whole stack before committing to a match, rather than clearing whatever pair happens to be available first.
