Anomaly Search

Anomaly Search sets you loose on a single unsettling scene per level, and the goal is to spot the one small detail that genuinely does not belong, hidden among everything else that looks unremarkable at first glance. Unlike a checklist-based hidden-object hunt, there is no list telling you what to look for — recognizing the anomaly means noticing that something about the scene feels subtly wrong before you can even identify exactly what it is. Working through a scene section by section, comparing each area against what would normally be expected there, tends to surface an anomaly faster than scanning the whole image at once and hoping something jumps out. Because the wrongness is often deliberately subtle rather than obviously out of place, the game rewards close, patient attention over quick surface-level scanning.
