Battleship on cells

1. Your fleet: one 4-cell battleship, two 3-cell cruisers, three 2-cell destroyers and four 1-cell boats.
2. Take turns firing at coordinates on your opponent's grid.
3. A hit damages or sinks a ship at that spot.
4. Sink the whole enemy fleet first to win.

Battleship on cells is the naval guessing game that used to be played with a pen and squared paper. Each side hides a fleet of ten ships: one four-cell battleship, two three-cell cruisers, three two-cell destroyers and four single-cell boats. Players take turns firing at coordinates on the opponent's grid, and a hit damages or sinks whatever is there. The first to sink the whole enemy fleet wins. It's more than a shooting contest: where you place your own ships matters just as much as where you aim. Once you score a hit, try the cells right next to it to find which way the ship runs.
