About Bushido puzzle

Bushido puzzle asks you to both slide and rotate a set of samurai-themed tiles until each one settles into its one correct position and orientation on the board. Rotation adds a layer that a purely sliding puzzle does not have, since a tile can be sitting in the right square but still be wrong simply because it is facing the wrong way, so checking orientation matters just as much as checking placement. Because tiles can block each other's rotation space as well as their sliding paths, freeing up room to turn a tile sometimes has to happen before you can even attempt to slide it into its final spot. Working out which tiles are already correctly placed and rotated, and protecting them while maneuvering the rest, keeps a solve moving forward instead of accidentally undoing progress you had already made.
