About Matchstick Puzzles

Matchstick Puzzles takes the classic matchstick-puzzle format and applies it to arithmetic equations built from matchstick digits and symbols that aren't currently true, challenging you to move a limited number of sticks to make each one correct. Because moving a matchstick can change a digit into a different one entirely or flip an operation symbol, working out which specific move actually fixes the equation requires testing arithmetic possibilities rather than just rearranging shapes visually. A move that looks plausible can still produce an equation that's still wrong, so checking the arithmetic after each attempted move matters as much as the visual rearrangement itself. As puzzles allow fewer matchstick moves, finding the correct fix demands genuinely careful arithmetic reasoning rather than trial and error.
