Merge the Presidents

Merge the Presidents runs on the familiar merge-chain formula: drag two matching character tiles together to combine them into a higher-tier version, and keep merging upward as the board fills with an increasingly varied cast of familiar faces. Because a merge only works between two genuinely identical tiles, spreading new arrivals out across the board without a plan can make it harder to bring matching pairs back together when you actually want to combine them. Managing board space becomes the real skill once higher-tier tiles start taking up more room, since merging upward too aggressively can leave you without space to receive fresh low-tier tiles arriving at the bottom. Watching familiar faces climb through each merge tier gives simple tile-combining an ongoing, faces-based sense of progress and collection.
