About Solitaire The Collection
Solitaire The Collection puts 33 patience games under one roof, so you can switch from a relaxed deal to a real brain-teaser without leaving the page. The list covers the big names: Klondike in draw-one and draw-three versions, one-, two- and four-suit Spider, FreeCell, Pyramid, Yukon and Tri Peaks, along with less familiar games such as Scorpion, Forty Thieves, Golf, Eight Off and Simple Simon. Each mode has its own rules, but most ask you to build ordered runs of cards until everything reaches the foundations. When a game stalls, hints, undo and auto-collect get you moving again, some modes let you ask for a solvable deal, and progress is saved automatically. Daily challenges, quests and achievements give you goals, and you can change the card designs, turn on dark mode or play with a left-handed layout.
Solitaire The Collection FAQ
Does Solitaire The Collection include FreeCell?
Yes. FreeCell is one of its 33 modes, alongside Klondike, Spider, Pyramid, Yukon, Tri Peaks and many others.
How do you play FreeCell?
All 52 cards are dealt face up into eight columns, and four free cells each hold one card for a while. Build the four foundations up by suit from ace to king; on the columns, stack cards downward in alternating colors.
Which Spider versions can I play?
You can choose one-suit, two-suit or four-suit Spider; fewer suits make it easier. Spiderette, a smaller relative of Spider, is also in the collection.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your progress is stored automatically, so you can leave and return later.
