How to play Tendo

  1. Drag a die from the right side onto an empty square.
  2. Check the totals shown above the columns and beside the rows.
  3. Complete a row or a column that adds up to exactly 10 to clear those dice.
  4. Plan ahead so the board never fills up completely.

About Tendo

Tendo is a number bonds game built around one target: ten. New dice show up on the right, and you move each one onto a free square of the board. Whenever the dice in a row or a column add up to exactly 10, they are cleared away and space opens up again. Running totals are printed along the top and the right edge, so you can see at a glance how far each line is from the target. The catch is that every die has to go somewhere, and once the board is completely full the game ends. Pairs like 4 and 6 or 5 and 5 become second nature after a few rounds, which makes it great addition practice.
