Triminos, dominoes triangles

Triminos takes the familiar domino formula and swaps its rectangular tiles for triangles, changing the whole matching puzzle. Instead of lining up two ends, each tile has three edges that all need a home, so every placement opens up more branching directions than standard dominoes ever do. You are constantly scanning the board for a triangle edge that matches the number in your hand, and the added edge count means dead ends come up more often if you play recklessly. Because paths can fork three ways at once, planning even two or three moves ahead makes a real difference to how quickly your hand empties. It rewards players who track which numbers are running low across the board, not just what is available to place right now. If you already know dominoes, the shift to triangular tiles is a small rule change with a surprisingly large effect on strategy.
