Chess - Jungle

1. Each piece has a rank; it can capture enemies of the same or lower rank.
2. Most pieces move one square straight; the snake and monkey have moves of their own.
3. Only the rat can enter the pond; the lion and tiger can leap over it.
4. A piece standing in a trap can be captured by any enemy.
5. Win by moving any piece into the enemy's lair or capturing all enemy pieces.

Chess - Jungle is a board game of ranked animals, better known as Jungle or animal chess. Each piece carries a rank and can capture enemies of the same or lower rank — with a famous exception: the little rat can defeat the elephant. Most animals move one square at a time, but the board adds twists. Only the rat can swim in the ponds, the lion and tiger can leap over them, and any piece standing in a trap becomes easy prey. You win by moving a piece into the enemy's lair or by capturing every enemy piece. There are three boards to choose from, and you can play the computer, a friend on the same device or an online opponent.
