Cyvasse: Chess ice and flame

1. Take turns moving one piece; mountains block movement and attacks.
2. A piece is under attack when an enemy has a straight, clear line to it within range.
3. Attacks reduce armor — a piece can only be captured once its armor is gone.
4. Capture by moving in a straight line onto an unarmored enemy piece.

Cyvasse: Chess ice and flame is a two-player strategy game that looks like chess but fights very differently. Every piece has an armor value and an attack range. A piece counts as attacked when there's a clear straight route to it within an enemy's range, and each attack wears its armor down; only once the armor is gone can the piece actually be captured by moving onto its square. Mountains block both movement and attacks, and most pieces may pass over friendly pieces but not stop on them. That makes positioning the real weapon — lining up several attackers on one target is what breaks through a well-armored defender. Play the computer, a friend on one device or an online opponent.
