The idea is simple: open the safe squares, read how many mines touch each one, and use those numbers to find every hidden mine. This page gathers every Minesweeper game on MathLogic, from the classic grey grid to versions that remove guessing, never end or let two players compete. All of them are free in your browser with no download or sign-up.

New to the game? Our guide on how to play Minesweeper explains the numbers, flags and the five patterns that solve most boards, and is Minesweeper luck or skill? covers the rare moments when you have to guess.

Minesweeper FAQ

How do you play Minesweeper?

Open squares one at a time. Every safe square shows how many mines touch it, counting diagonals. Use the numbers to find the mines, flag them, and open every other square to win.

Which Minesweeper game should beginners play?

Start with Explainable Minesweeper, because every board can be solved without guessing and the Hint button explains each step. Then move to the classic game on the Beginner level.

Can you play Minesweeper without guessing?

In the classic game you sometimes have to guess when two squares cannot be told apart. Explainable Minesweeper only creates boards that pure logic can solve, so you never have to.

Can two people play Minesweeper together?

Yes. In Minesweeper Duel two players take turns opening squares, score the values they reveal and try to avoid the mines.

Are these Minesweeper games free?

Yes. Every game on this page is free to play in the browser on computers, tablets and phones, with no download or account.
